Built from solid Douglas Fir logs, with a strong emphasis on good passive solar design coupled with plenty of unique quirks, our warm and cosy holiday house sleeps 2+ families in comfort, and serves as a perfect base to explore the Castle Hill Basin and further afield, with a myriad of tracks (tramping and biking), ski-fields, rivers/streams, mountains, etc, all waiting for you, topped off with plenty of fresh air, calm weather and clear skies.

We loved it there, such an amazing house and it was all so stunning with all the snow around – beautiful place. Would love to go back sometime. Everything was so organised and easy to find, made staying there so simple and relaxing. Perfect weekend … we absolutely loved it and want to be back there now! It’s a struggle heading back to work!
